Saturday 11/16

10:15
Temp 40-45 deg, sunny with a south wind.
Dick shoots 3 does from the Big Ladder Blind. 1 small one, 1 large one and one he thinks it didn't go far. After tracking it a quarter mile to the sand hill, John blasts a big doe. He saw the wounded one go into the swamp. He doesn't think it has long to live. After 3 1/2 hours and 6 shots we finally down the "doe that wouldn't die" over by the beaver pond. Dave, Tom, Dick, Paul, Denny, Kent and John tracked the deer 1 1/2 - 2 miles.
Total for the day is 4 deer.
(RICK, RICK, RICKY.RICKY RACCOON!)
Sunday 11/17
Drove swamp off of Rose City rd. Drivers; John, Tom, Dick, Paul. On the stand; Kent, Denny and Dave.
No one got shots, but Denny saw 3 big bucks running together through the swamp along the bottom of the oak ridge.
Tuesday 11/19
John saw 17 deer in the morning at the far north ridge at the corner of the property-2 spikes and 15 does.
Problem was they were on the wrong side of the fence!
John and Tom split in the afternoon.
