Coldest Opening Day in History ,Temp= 9 Deg F Dick blasted doe (Densmore's corner stand) Tom blasted 5 point buck, finger off of Rose City rd. (hunt-in-hut) Tom saw 4 deer , Kent saw 5 doe back ridge by chicken coop. Dave got a shot at a doe |

Temp 40-45 deg, sunny with a south wind. Dick shoots 3 does from the Big Ladder Blind. 1 small one, 1 large one and one he thinks it didn't go far. After tracking it a quarter mile to the sand hill, John blasts a big doe. He saw the wounded one go into the swamp. He doesn't think it has long to live. After 3 1/2 hours and 6 shots we finally down the "doe that wouldn't die" over by the beaver pond. Dave, Tom, Dick, Paul, Denny, Kent and John tracked the deer 1 1/2 - 2 miles. Total for the day is 4 deer. (RICK, RICK, RICKY�.RICKY RACCOON!) |

Drove swamp
off of Rose City rd. Drivers; John, Tom, Dick, Paul. On the stand; Kent, Denny and Dave. No one got shots, but Denny saw 3 big bucks running together through the swamp along the bottom of the oak ridge. |

Tuesday 11/19 | |
John saw 17 deer in the morning at the far north ridge at the corner of the property-2 spikes and 15 does. Problem was they were on the wrong side of the fence! John and Tom split in the afternoon. |
