Paul, Tom, Todd and John arrive at camp in the afternoon. Kent gets the first deer on Rose City rd. with the F150 magnum Dave pulls in to camp. No card game, real slow and quiet so went to bed early |

A cool 25deg. Tom nails 4 pointer (the sparring buck) out of the hunt-in-hut blind #2. Again Tom shoots the buck pool winner. |

Kent shot one from the corner fence blind, but it got away. Paul scored a young buck on #5 Dick scored a young doe on #15 |

| No deer early. Denny and Mark leave early afternoon We drive the swamp on Rose City rd. Paul, John on stand. Tom and Todd driving. Paul saw 6 deer run to Densmore's corner. |

| John saw 40 deer, many does and a few bucks, on Hunt Club property at Kent's blind at end of 80 acres. Evening hunt and Todd saw 2 does. John saw a buck but couldn't get off a shot. "So-long, great deer camp "97" |
