This is our Pole barn
We needed a place to store our dozer for the winter

August of 1998, This is the area at Bloom Lake that we just (tried) to level off with our dozer. We chose a rolling meadow, so we didn't need to remove any trees.
We had the holes for the post drilled by a local farmer, and cement dropped by LC Redi-Mix. After the cement hardened, we started setting the posts in the holes
Wow, that was a long day, we finished setting the back wall posts.
The next day we finished setting the rest of the posts and started with the wall purlins.
After the purlins, we started the roof trusses, what a job.
Finally, the skeleton is finished, now it's time to work on the steel skin.
Roof skin goes on first, then the walls.
Almost done, installing the door track and some trim.
Finished barn.

It took about 5 days to finish the frame, another 3 or 4 days to hang the wall and roof steel, and a few more days to finish the trim. Fun project, everyone should build a barn!
