Saturday July 11th. We have a spare weekend, let's run up and get the window installed in the Forest Wall.
We call it the "Forest Wall" because it faces a nice thick stand of trees. It won't take long, just peel the siding and frame for a window. |
| Um, remember the shed up against the cottage? It seems snow and rain made it's way into the wall and caused some rot here too! |  |

Now we can get back to window framing |
| We've added a metal flashing around the foundation to keep the block from rotting the siding. |  |

There was nothing holding this end of the roof up, except the old siding boards. |
| Another delay while we cut some angled studs for that. |  |

Now we can finish the siding. |
| Hey it's only 3:00 PM on Sunday, let's install the doorwall before we go home. |  |
