Saturday September 20th. A back yard view from the (new) roof. There is no way to get anything back here.
We talked about moving the barn, but decided to just shorten it by 8 feet |
We peeled off the siding (that sounds familiar?) | ![]() |

Clipped off the sides and back wall purlins |
The inside view, we have materials staged to the next steps. | ![]() |

The middle 2 poles are moved to their new home, and most of the roof purlins are cut away |
A few more and it will be free! | ![]() |

I cut the pole out, and cut the front truss carrier, then lowered the cutoff roof section with the tractor bucket.
A quick pull dropped the truss tails from the back carrier to the ground.
That was uneventful, but now we have a 10 foot driveway video soon! |
Sweet, let's get this steel back on! | ![]() |

Another late Sunday, let's get out of here! |
Now we have a way to get by the barn, we can set the culvert | ![]() |

A craigslist score, 20 feet of 18 inch culvert for cheap! |
Lerg brought us a load of landscape rocks for next year. | ![]() |

Saturday Nov 7th. Another good score, in one trip we grabbed 3 apartment sized stoves and a nice Swanstone sink with faucet. |
